Joyce Rosely and Robert Melton have each been named executive vice president, co-head of institutional sales and distribution at Strive Asset Management, a spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday.
They joined the Columbus, Ohio-based firm, which was formed earlier this year, effective Tuesday, the spokeswoman said. The positions are newly created, she said.
In a May interview, Vivek Ramaswamy, a co-founder and the executive chairman of Strive Asset Management, told Pensions & Investments that “we will be in the business of launching ETFs.”
A registration statement was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 20 relating to the Strive U.S. Energy Independence ETF as well as two other ETFs.
Ms. Rosely and Mr. Melton come to Strive from State Street Global Advisors.
At SSGA, Ms. Rosely most recently served as vice president and head of U.S. SPDR asset manager/hedge fund sales, while Mr. Melton’s most recent role there was vice president and head of institutional asset owner ETF sales, the Strive spokeswoman said.
A spokeswoman for SSGA, the asset management arm of State Street Corp., did not respond to a request for comment Tuesday.
