Gary Dorfman

Gary is the President of Strive Wealth Management, responsible for setting the overall vision, mission, and strategic direction of the firm’s wealth management business. Strive’s Wealth Management Division was established to provide customized investment and financial solutions that empower families, foundations, and institutions to achieve true financial freedom.

Prior to joining Strive, Gary was a Managing Director leading One Capital’s Family Office Business. Before One Capital, he was a Managing Director and Partner at Beacon Pointe Wealth Advisors. Gary has over 30 years of investment management experience and has been an innovator in the financial services industry, creating wealth management platforms for several large financial institutions. He has held senior management positions at Lincoln Financial Advisors, Robertson Stephens, and Sanford C. Bernstein. Gary received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a dual emphasis in Business Economics and Political Science. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the LEAP Foundation, a nonprofit focused on providing young adults with leadership skills to better prepare them for college and pave the way as they begin their careers. Additionally, he has served on the Board of the Santa Barbara State Street Ballet and completed a two-year term on the Board of Directors for Santa Barbara Middle School.
