Matt is Chief Executive Officer of Strive and Chief Investment Officer of Strive Asset Management. He oversees Strive's strategic initiatives, business segments, investment philosophy, and product line up. Matt is the Head Portfolio Manager for Strive’s equity ETFs and actively managed Fixed Income ETFs.
Matt has been widely published and quoted in major news outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The Hill, Bloomberg, Financial Times, and Semafor. He has also appeared on the Fox Business Channel, Bloomberg News, and Hedgeye, among others.
Prior to Strive, Matt was a Portfolio Manager at CalPERS, where he oversaw more than $70 billion in actively managed Fixed Income portfolios. During his career at CalPERS, the portfolios he oversaw did not underperform their benchmark in any single year.
